HammondCare is seeking Assistants in Nursing with hospital experience for casual roles in the Older Persons Mental Health ward at Macquarie Hospital, North Ryde. You will join a dedicated multi-disciplinary team focused on patient-centred care for our OPMH patients.

Applicants with at least one year of hospital experience or nursing students in their second year with clinical placement are encouraged to apply.

About the role

Applications are invited from Assistants in Nursing with Hospital experience to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our OPMH patients.

These casual opportunities will be in our Older Persons Mental Health ward located at Macquarie Hospital in North Ryde. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.

About you

• At least one year's relevant hospital experience, or a second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with at least one Clinical Placement and a desire to work in a OPMH ward.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

• Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
• Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
