Job summary

Northcott in Sydney is seeking multiple casual Assistant in Nursing to support customers in Liverpool and Yagoona on a casual basis. You will contribute to compassionate, person-centred care in a diverse community.

You will deliver personalised nursing care, assist with personal care, hygiene and daily living tasks, and support customers with complex care needs while promoting dignity. The role requires a 24/7 rotating roster, with shifts including overnights, weekends and public holidays, and

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in disability/aged care, particularly within group home settings.
• Competency in manual handling, including hoist operation and repositioning.
• PEG feeding and safe swallowing support.
• Epilepsy management and responding to challenging behaviours.
• Bowel care and assistance with bowel care routines.

Responsibilities

Here’s what will help you shine in this role:

• At least one year of experience in disability/aged care, particularly within group home settings.

Note: Pay rate will be determined based on the total number of hours worked as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
