Job summary

Jobwire Recruitment in Sydney is seeking compassionate Assistants in Nursing to support aged care residents across Castle Hill, Dural, Cherrybrook and Galston. This casual position offers flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends within aged care facilities.

You will provide hands-on support to residents, monitor wellbeing, and maintain care notes as part of a dedicated care team, ensuring high-quality, resident-centred care.

Qualifications

• Recent AIN experience in an aged care setting.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate approach.
• A real commitment to quality, resident-centred care.
• Availability across a range of shifts including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, dressing, mobility, meals, and everyday living activities
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely care notes and documentation
• Create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where residents feel valued every shift
• Deliver care in line with aged care standards, policies, and best practice requirements
