Job summary

The William Inglis Hotel – MGallery Collection is seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team and help deliver a premium guest experience in a luxury setting.

Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you will be a hands-on leader, coaching your team, resolving guest requests and ensuring seamless service across the property. Strong Opera Cloud PMS knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Assistant Front Office Manager or similar hotel leadership role.
• Strong Front Office experience, 2+ years preferred.
• Excellent guest service and a genuine hospitality mindset.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Familiar with Opera Cloud or similar PMS.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 7‑day roster.
• Current First Aid and RSA certification.
• Full working rights in Australia; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front office team on the floor to deliver a warm, polished guest experience.
• Oversee arrivals, departures, room allocations and operations with guest focus.
• Coach and develop the Front Office team to build a high-performing culture.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Housekeeping and other departments.
• Support financial processes, rostering, and reporting for the department.
• Drive Accor and MGallery standards to elevate service and performance.
• Cover Duty Manager responsibilities across the hotel.
