Job summary

Accor is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join our flagship properties in Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on supporting the Director of Finance with day-to-day operations, financial reporting and budgeting in a dynamic hospitality environment.

You will oversee AP/AR/Payroll, ensure internal controls, and uphold compliance standards across our hotels. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial management, a Finance/Accounting degree, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial management, ideally in hospitality or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Finance in daily operations including compliance and owner relations.
• Deliver timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll functions.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with Accor policies and regulatory standards.
• Handle confidential information with utmost integrity.

Job Description

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Sun Accounting is highly desirable.
