Job summary

Coogee Bay Hotel, operated by Simmattown Pty Ltd, seeks an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in New South Wales, Australia. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic and operational plans for the F&B department, ensuring smooth service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.

You will work closely with chefs, events, and sales teams, manage daily finances, and drive revenue through innovative activities while maintaining presentation, hygiene and staff development.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary education, RSA and wine accreditation required.
• Minimum 3 years in a management role.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and leads by example.
• Community engagement and passion for hospitality, guest service, food & beverage.

Responsibilities

• Plan seasonal menus with Chefs and coordinate with events team for functions.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to support Conference Centre offerings.
• Manage daily finances to achieve EBITDA and implement revenue-generating activities.
• Oversee stock management and reporting, ensure hygiene and safety standards.
• Roaster planning, staff training, and rostering to optimize service levels.
• Train and develop the Food & Beverage Services team to enhance guest experience.
