Job summary

Brigidine College Randwick in Sydney seeks an Assistant English Coordinator to lead engaging, student-centred English teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The role is a 1-point promotional position, temporary for up to 3 years, while the teaching role remains full-time and permanent.

You will bring expertise in English, with ability to teach across Stages 4–6, strong classroom management, and a commitment to inclusive, rigorous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English and other stages (Stages 4–6) is preferred.
• Demonstrated classroom management and student wellbeing focus.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Qualified teacher with Education degree and NESA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students through engaging, student-centred teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
• Teach English and related areas across Stages 4–6 where advantageous.
• Promotional role for up to 3 years, with full-time permanent teaching position.
