Job summary

Eden Academy Wollongbar is hiring Assistant Educators for our brand-new centre serving 2–4 year olds. Join a warm team in a bright, home-like setting with long hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm and a strong focus on play-based learning, safety, and community involvement.

You will support children’s curiosity, social development and resilience while following EYLF and NQS guidelines. This role offers competitive hours, ongoing education support, and a sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in ECE or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Proficiency in EYLF and National Quality Standards.
• Australian Working Rights.

Operating from 6.30am-6.30pm, we provide the ultimate canvas for 100 children to explore, grow, and thrive. You’re a compassionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow. You will possess:

• Diploma inEarly Childhood Education (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) or
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)or
• Food Handling Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Proficiency in EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Australian Working Rights
• Great personal presentation
• Confidence and curiosity to build relationships with our families and the local community
• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
