Job summary

Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten in Clyde North, VIC is seeking an Assistant Educator (Float) to support play-based learning for children across all ages. You will work with Lead Educators and Centre Leadership to foster a safe, inclusive environment and build strong relationships with families.

The role requires EYLF understanding, a Certificate III or Diploma, and a positive, collaborative approach. This permanent part-time position offers opportunities for ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education and care is preferred.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQF is desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences for children across all age groups.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
• Work collaboratively with Lead Educators, Room Leaders and the Centre Leadership Team.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Assist with implementing educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Help maintain a high standard of care, education and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and service policies.
• Work flexible shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm as part of a permanent part-time roster and available 5 days a week.

As an Assistant Educator, you will:

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent)
• Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting, with at least one year experience.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• A positive, flexible and professional approach to your work
