Job summary

Headstart Early Learning Centre Ocean Grove, operated by G8 Education Ltd, invites an Assistant Educator for part-time hours (22.5 per week) to join a supportive, qualified team. You’ll help deliver a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0–5, aligning with EYLF and NQS guidelines.

ACECQA-approved qualifications are required, along with a Working with Children Check and First Aid. The role offers a flexible schedule within a large network, with career growth opportunities across 400+

Headstart Early Learning Centre Ocean Grove is offering an exceptional candidate an Assistant Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

This role is Part-Time working 22.5 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 95 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
