Job summary

G8 Education’s Chancellor Park World of Learning is seeking an Assistant Educator for a part-time role (24 hours per week). You will contribute to a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0–5, aligned with EYLF and NQS, within a supportive team dedicated to quality care.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, have a current WWC and First Aid, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Understanding of EYLF and NQS
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality learning environment and care for children aged 0–5 years
• Collaborate with the team to deliver EYLF-aligned activities
• Support daily routines, safety, and wellbeing of children
• Maintain open communication with families and colleagues

This role is Part-Time working 24 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 74 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
