Job summary

G8 Education is seeking an Assistant Educator for Great Beginnings Kariong Centre in NSW. You will join a team of Early Childhood professionals and help build an engaging, high-quality learning environment for children aged 0–5 years.

The role requires an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma, a solid understanding of EYLF and NQS, and current WWCC. First Aid certification is expected, with benefits including above-award pay and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved).
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS essential.
• Experience as an Educator with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining an outstanding learning environment for children.
• Support educators in delivering age-appropriate activities for 0–5 years.
• Participate in indoor/outdoor play and supervision to ensure safety and engagement.

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 108 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
