Job summary

Great Beginnings Kariong Centre is seeking an Assistant Educator who is passionate about early childhood and ready to join a supportive team. You will contribute to an engaging learning environment for children aged 0–5 years and work with qualified professionals to foster development.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understand EYLF and NQS.
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0–5 years.
• Collaborate with a qualified team to support learners’ development.
• Maintain clear communication with families and staff.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 108 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
