Job summary

Great Beginnings Bathurst is seeking an Assistant Educator with a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services to join our caring, professional team. You will help create an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0–5 and support qualified educators across daily activities during full-time hours (38 per week).

We value EYLF and NQS knowledge, strong communication, and a current Working with Children Check plus First Aid.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma required.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS essential.
• Experience as Educator in early childhood (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an outstanding learning environment for children 0–5.
• Support day-to-day activities and programs run by qualified educators.
• Follow centre policies and safety procedures.

This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 129children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
