N Family Club in London’s Camberwell is seeking an Assistant Educator to support a warm, curriculum-led early years environment, delivering our learning-through-play approach and helping children dream big.

You’ll work with experienced educators, learn the N Curriculum, and progress with training, including Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding. No previous experience required; enthusiastic individuals welcome.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required in a similar role.
• Induction training including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection, and EY qualification Level 2/3.
• Positive, glass-half-full outlook and energy to drive activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our 'learning through play' ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support the planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that encourage child development.
• Support with high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Help supervise mealtimes in line with N's safety policies.
• Complete daily health & safety checks thoroughly, escalating concerns where needed.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice.
• Make sure every area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Help with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
