Job summary

Join N Family Club as a Housekeeper in Camberwell, London, ensuring a safe, welcoming and spotless environment for children, families and staff. You’ll clean classrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, manage laundry, stock supplies and help maintain a warm, inviting nursery atmosphere.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot broken or faulty equipment and report to management for quick fixes.
• Manage laundry and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
• Water plants and maintain a fresh, bright environment.
• Use nursery-safe products and follow COSHH guidelines for safety.
• Welcome deliveries and organise storage spaces.
• Be the hygiene hero by keeping the nursery safe, clean, and shining daily.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and let management know so we can fix it fast.
• Stay on top of laundry and make sure we’re always stocked with the right cleaning supplies.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery feeling fresh and bright.
• Use the right products for a nursery environment, following COSHH guidelines to keep everyone safe.
• Welcome deliveries and make sure everything is kept in the right place.
• Be our hygiene hero – keeping our nursery safe, clean, and shining every day.

Our Housekeepers should have...

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and an understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• A caring and passionate personality, with a genuine love for working with children and families.
• Experience of working with hazardous materials and know how to use them safely.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
• Bags of drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude!
• A love for customer service.
• High energy for every task you take on.
