Job summary

G8 Education is seeking an Assistant Educator to join our supportive team. You will help nurture learning environments for children aged 0–5 and contribute to a positive, educational atmosphere across our centre.

The role is full-time (38 hours/week) with opportunities to grow within G8’s network. Applicants should hold ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services and have a current Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services approved by ACECQA.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as an educator in an early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain an outstanding learning environment for children 0–5 years.

This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 72 children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
