Qualifications

Are you ready looking for a leadership role in early childhood to grow your career?

A well-established mid-sized early learning centre in the Sutherland Shire is seeking an experienced Assistant Director / Room Leader to join their leadership team.

The centre has a strong reputation in the community, high occupancy, and a stable, experienced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Room Leader ready to step into leadership, or an experienced Assistant Director / 2IC looking to join a high-quality service with a view to progress.

The Role

This is an Assistant Director with dedicated time off the floor to focus on leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service
• Mentoring and coaching educators
• Conducting one-on-one meetings and staff appraisals
• Supporting educators with professional practice and development
• Assisting with compliance and quality standards
• Helping organise centre events and excursions

What's on Offer

• $40 - $50 per hour + super depending on experience and qualification (negotiable for the right candidate)
• Approximately 20% above award pay
• Worker Retention Payment (WRP) paid
• Supportive leadership and a stable, collaborative team
