Job summary

Wahroonga After School Care Centre is seeking a passionate education professional to lead and inspire a team of educators in a warm, family-focused setting.

You will develop and reflect the educational program in line with MTOP and NQS, mentor staff, and foster strong connections with children, families and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Sound pedagogical knowledge and experience developing educators.
• Ability to lead the educational program in line with MTOP and NQS.
• Foster clear communication between management and Educators.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment supporting each child’s learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nominated Supervisor with day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, education and WHS compliance.
• Lead the development, implementation and reflection of the educational program in line with MTOP and NQS.
• Mentor Educators to build professional capacity and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster clear communication between management and Educators.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment that supports each child’s learning journey.
