Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director in daily operations, lead a dedicated team and drive high-quality programs for children.

You will mentor staff, promote a warm, inclusive culture, and align practice with our Green Leaves commitments across wellbeing, learning environments and family connections.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director (preferred, not essential).
• Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar).
• A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check (state-relevant).
• Current Child Protection and National Safety Training Certificates.
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012).
• National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months.
• Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts 6:30am–6:30pm, Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations.
• Guide the team in delivering high-quality programs for children.
• Mentor and develop staff in line with best practice.
• Foster a warm, welcoming culture aligned with Green Leaves commitments.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development partners on pedagogy topics.

About You:
