Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning Centres is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director, lead a dedicated team of educators, and embed the Green Leaves Commitments across daily practice. You will guide high‑quality programs, mentor staff, coordinate operations and family engagement, and foster a warm, welcoming culture with a focus on safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.

This role sits within a supportive Centre Leadership team with ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
• Current SA Working with Children Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Current SA Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
• Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Clearance obtained in last 6 months or willingness to obtain.
• PRODA ID or willingness to obtain.
• Leadership experience in Early Childhood Education sector.
• Must be available for rotating shifts starting as early as 6:30 am and finishing by 6:30 pm, five days a week.

• Lead and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs.
• Model and embed Green Leaves Commitments across practice.
• Guide Centre operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development for staff.
