Job summary

Edge Early Learning is seeking an experienced Assistant Director or Educational Leader to partner with the Centre Director and drive high-quality outcomes for children and families at Bellbird Park. You will mentor educators, lead in the Director's absence and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will maintain NQF compliance, foster strong relationships with families and the local community, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE or a Graduate Diploma/Masters of Teaching with relevant experience in long day care in Australia.
• Experience leading teams in a Long Day Care setting is essential.
• Willingness to work opening and/or closing shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director with day-to-day operations.
• Lead the service in the Director's absence.
• Coach and mentor educators.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Build strong relationships with families and the community.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with a minimum 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia
• Leadership experience in Long Day Care.

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Relevant Child Safety training
• RRHAN (SA where applicable)
