Job summary

Sanctuary Early Learning Adventure Ashmore invites applications for an Assistant Director to guide educational programs and inclusive practices. You will lead teaching teams, foster community partnerships and support daily operations while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

The role requires a Diploma level qualification in ECEC or higher and strong administrative capabilities, with training available for OWNA CCMS and a commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of Diploma of ECEC or higher.
• Strong administrative skills are essential for this role.
• Experience with OWNA CCMS is a bonus - training will be provided.
• Must hold current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection.
• Completion of Child Protection Training and knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team development, performance evaluations and staff scheduling.
• Lead and guide teaching teams, build relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure the service is compliant with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Maintain daily operations and enrolment processes to support a successful service.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Director who will provide ongoing support and assistance to the Director, Approved Provider and Leadership Team. Be part of a multidisciplinary approach to support both children and families.

You must have a demonstrated ability to lead and guide teaching teams, develop relationships with families and the local community that build and support collaborative partnerships.

Ensure the service is compliant with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and other relevant Legislation.

Demonstrate integrity, proficiency, and awareness through supporting daily rituals and the use of authentic resources.

The successful applicant will oversee team development, performance evaluations, staff scheduling, all elements of service enrolment process and other daily operations to maintain a successful business with a strong understanding of the NQF, NQS, and EYLF.

Qualifications and requirements

Hold a minimum of Diploma of ECEC or higher.
