Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Director to lead a dedicated team of educators and support the Centre Director in daily operations at our Devonport location. You will guide program development, mentor staff, and embed our commitments across pedagogy, wellbeing, inclusion and sustainability.

You will work with teams and families to create a warm, welcoming culture and ensure high standards of care and learning.

You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

About You:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director
  • Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
  • Current and State-relevant Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
  • Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
  • Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
