Job summary

C&K Birralee in Ferny Hills, QLD is seeking an Assistant Director to support the centre’s leadership team, drive quality educational programs and mentor educators. You’ll help build strong relationships with families and foster a positive team culture for children to learn, explore and grow.

The role is permanent full-time with 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, a monthly rostered day off and an hourly rate of $40.90–$42.23 plus super.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or progression towards it.
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

As Assistant Director, you'll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the centre, supporting quality educational programs, mentoring educators, building strong relationships with families, and helping to foster a positive team culture. • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a willingness to commence studying towards this qualification.

• A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
