Job summary

At C&K Clinton Community Childcare Centre, the Assistant Director supports the Centre Director in daily operations, stepping in during non-contact times and assisting Group Leaders. The role requires opening/closing shifts and designation as person in charge, with a focus on safety and a nurturing learning environment for children.

Located near Clinton State School, the centre offers a wage of $42.12 to $43.50 per hour plus superannuation, with benefits like childcare discounts, EAP, Blue

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood qualification required.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Valid Blue Card or exemption and current Police Check.
• Knowledge of NQF/EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate completed.

As our highly valued Assistant Director at C&K Clinton, you’ll support the Centre Director in leading daily operations and ensuring smooth centre management. You will also step in to support during non-contact times and assist Group Leaders when needed. You will be required for opening or closing shifts and also be a responsible person in charge. Through your ideas, passion, and experience, you will play an integral role in fostering a culture where everyone can belong, grow, and thrive.

• Must be Diploma in Early Childhood qualified.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check current
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
