We're looking for an Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of a logistics and industrial development currently progressing through the Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) exhibition process in Beveridge Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to become involved at the front end of a landmark project and play a key role in shaping the planning, infrastructure and development outcomes that will influence the precinct for decades to come.

Reporting to a Senior Development Manager, you'll gain broad exposure across the full development lifecycle while working with a high-performing team responsible for creating industrial and logistics destinations that support business growth, employment and economic development.

We're Looking For

We're seeking an emerging development professional who wants to be involved in shaping one of Victoria's future major industrial and logistics precincts.

You'll bring strong communication and organisational skills, commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in planning, stakeholder engagement and project delivery. You'll enjoy working collaboratively across diverse project teams and balancing multiple priorities to help drive project outcomes.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Development Manager, you'll work closely with internal teams, consultants, government agencies and external stakeholders to progress key project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning, approvals and delivery of large-scale industrial development projects.
• Assisting with project feasibility updates, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Coordinating consultants, technical studies and project approvals.
• Building strong relationships with government authorities, landowners, utility providers, consultants and community stakeholders.
• Supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives and helping drive positive project outcomes.
• Assisting with contract administration, procurement processes and governance approvals.
• Monitoring project risks, opportunities, budgets, programmes and key deliverables.
• Contributing to the strategic planning and vision for one of Victoria's most significant future employment precincts.

About You

You are an emerging development professional who is passionate about property and infrastructure development and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Experience & Skills That Count

• Tertiary qualification in Property, Development or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Around 2 to 3 years’ experience in property development, property development, planning, project management, construction or a related field.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, consultant procurement and contract administration within a project environment, with a desire to further develop commercial and development management capability.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced development professionals.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
