Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) seeks an Assistant Coordinator in Melton South for a permanent, part-time role of 30 hours per week. Split shifts are 6.45-9.00am and 2.45-6.30pm, Monday to Friday, with leadership development and supportive supervision.

You will lead a team of Educators, coordinate rosters, and deliver child-led programs while engaging with families and the wider school community in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
• State Working-with-Children check.
• Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Educators onsite.
• Roster management and service operations support.
• Assist with onboarding and compliance processes.
• Create child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft.
• Build positive relationships with families, schools, and the community.
• Develop skills for future management opportunities.
