Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour in Sydney’s vibrant waterfront is seeking a Conference and Events Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of exceptional events. You will build strong client relationships, oversee proposals and contracts, and work with Sales, Revenue, F&B, Banquets and other hotel departments to ensure flawless execution.

You’ll focus on maximising revenue through upselling, developing our ambassador program and coaching a high-performing team, while upholding Sofitel’s luxury

Qualifications

• Hospitality professional with experience in conference and events, sales or a similar environment.
• Strong client relationships and a commercial mindset to drive revenue.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to coordinate multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage conferences and events from enquiry through to post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate with Sales, Revenue, F&B, Banquets and other departments to deliver events to the highest standard.
• Upsell and identify opportunities to grow repeat business while coaching the team.
