Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited, operating Eurest services at Coles Distribution Centre, is hiring a Catering Assistant. You will provide customer service, help prepare salads and sandwiches, maintain a clean service area, and support the kitchen team across afternoon/evening shifts.

You should be reliable, organized, and ready to work Monday to Friday, with coffee-making skills considered a plus. A National Police Check is preferred to ensure suitability for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous catering assistant experience preferred
• Coffee-making skills are an added advantage

• Willing to obtain a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
• Food preparation such as making salads and sandwiches
• Maintain the service area to high standards
• Work unsupervised
• Showcase excellent time management skills
• Operate the espresso machine for coffee
• Assist with food preparation and reheating
• Set-up, serve and pack down catering function
• Maintain food safety, hygiene & cleanliness standards
• Replenish food, beverages and catering supplies
• Assist chef and wider team
• Complete cleaning and general kitchen duties

Catering Assistant
27.09 + 25 % Casual Loading
Coles Distribution Centre, Whetherill Park NSW

• Monday to Sunday Shifts
• Afternoon shift (1:00pm onwards) or Evening shift (5:30pm to 1:30am)

THE POSITION
