ChoiceOne is hiring an Assistant Accountant for a Temp-to-Perm, full-time role in Western Australia. Based in Canning Vale, the position offers an immediate start with 38 hours per week in a mining services and manufacturing environment.

The role involves AP/AR processing, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and general accounting support. Permanent appointment is possible after a successful probationary period, with relocation noted for Rockingham in 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes.
• Experience preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience working with ERP software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and payment runs.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, receipting and debtor follow-ups.
• Prepare month-end journals and assist with month-end reporting.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with general accounting and finance-related admin tasks.
• Support the finance team with other duties as required.
