ARTEMUS Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller with the full accounting function for multiple entities. Based in Brisbane, you will contribute to month-end, reconciliations, budgeting, and KPI analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or studying towards, with at least 2 years’ experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (MYOB Acumatica advantageous).
• Solid financial acumen and a knack for commercial accounting.
• Strong analytical, technical and Excel skills, with a “can do” attitude.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work autonomously in a fast paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Bank Reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Reconciliation of suspense accounts, clearing accounts, sales and banking clearing accounts.
• Maintenance of fixed asset register/general ledger for multiple entities.
• Assist preparation of Budgets and Forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs, financials and operational data.
• Assist with the completion of other ad-hoc financial duties as requested by the CFO/FC.
• Understand financial and legal purpose for transactions and structures.
• Make recommendations to gain efficiencies of the financial processes.
• Continuous improvement of processes and procedures where identified or as directed.
• Business Activity statements – preparation & submission to ATO.
• Assist with FBT reporting & collation of data for annual FBT returns.
