Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment in Sydney CBD is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a busy luxury fashion brand. The role is full-function, covering allocations and sales reconciliations, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, and assisting with P&L and cash flow forecasting.

You will work with a team of 6 across the Sydney Office and Regional office, five days in the office.

Qualifications

• Available immediately.
• 2-3+ years’ experience in similar roles.
• Strong reconciliations experience.
• Degree qualified and/or working towards CA/CPA.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Experience in retail/fashion or products-based environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Allocations and sales reconciliations.

Sydney CBD – 5 days in the office - $38-43/hr + super – 10-month temporary role

Company Background

Our client is a luxury retail brand with operations globally. Their Australian office is currently entering into their busy period and are seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to support them through their year-end. No working from home is available, but offices are conveniently located in the CBD close to a range of public transport links.

The Role

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be working closely with a team of 6 across both the Sydney Office and the Regional office. It is a full-function opportunity, and you will be responsible for:

• Allocations and sales reconciliations
• Balance sheet & bank reconciliations
• Journal preparation and posting (accruals, prepayments)
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting with P&L preparation
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting

Your Background
