Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using MYOB.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end invoicing in a medium to high-volume environment.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate job and billing information.
  • Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies.
  • Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with general accounting duties and finance administration.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
