Job summary

NACBA, a well-established services business in Brisbane, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. You will own high-volume invoicing while supporting month-end processes and a broad range of accounting tasks, reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with operations teams.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in similar roles, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MYOB and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or similar finance role.
• High-volume invoicing experience.
• Experience using MYOB.
• Month-end support experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communications skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoicing in a medium to high-volume environment.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure accurate job and billing information.
• Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies.
• Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with general accounting duties and finance administration.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
