Hooker & Heijden - Insurance and Underwriting Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in Melbourne's East to work closely with a Senior Account Manager on a portfolio around $660,000 income. The role includes renewals, quotes, endorsements, and client liaison with on-site start and hybrid work after probation.

You should have commercial or SME broking experience, Tier 1 status preferred, and a valid driver's licence.

• Tier 1 experience preferred; Tier 2 considered if Tier 1 completed.
• Must have a car and a valid driver's licence.

About the Organisation

Our client is an established Victorian insurance brokerage. Its Enterprise team of about 10 people looks after small and medium business clients.

About the Role

We're recruiting an Assistant Account Manager to work one to one with an experienced Senior Account Manager on a book of about $660,000 in income. The portfolio includes hair and beauty, trades and business packages.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing renewals and insurer submissions for the portfolio
• Processing quotations, endorsements and policy documentation
• Responding to client queries
• Keeping client records and the broking system up to date

About You

Some broking experience is required.

Ideally you'll bring:

• Commercial or SME broking support experience
• Tier 1 (candidates with Tier 2 who will complete Tier 1 will be considered)
• A car and driver's licence

What's on Offer

• Salary is dependent on experience

• Full time in the office during the 6 month probation, then 3 days in the office and 2 from home
