Job summary

Hooker & Heijden in Melbourne's East seeks an Assistant Account Manager to work closely with an experienced Senior Account Manager on a book of about AU$660,000 income. The portfolio includes hair and beauty, trades and business packages.

The role starts on a full-time, on-site basis during a 6-month probation, then shifts to 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. You will be involved in renewals, insurer submissions, quotations, endorsements, and policy documentation while maintaining

Qualifications

• Some broking experience is required.
• Commercial or SME broking support experience.
• Tier 1 (Tier 2 acceptable with Tier 1 completion) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare renewals and insurer submissions for the portfolio.
• Process quotations, endorsements and policy documentation.
• Respond to client queries and keep client records up to date.

About the Organisation

Our client is an established Victorian insurance brokerage. Its Enterprise team of about 10 people looks after small and medium business clients.

About the Role

We're recruiting an Assistant Account Manager to work one to one with an experienced Senior Account Manager on a book of about $660,000 in income. The portfolio includes hair and beauty, trades and business packages.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing renewals and insurer submissions for the portfolio
• Processing quotations, endorsements and policy documentation
• Responding to client queries
• Keeping client records and the broking system up to date

About You

Some broking experience is required.

Ideally you'll bring:

• Commercial or SME broking support experience
• Tier 1 (candidates with Tier 2 who will complete Tier 1 will be considered)
• A car and driver's licence
