Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a permanent full-time Asset Performance Lead within NSW Motorways to establish a new asset performance function covering motorway infrastructure, Intelligent Transport Systems and broader equipment.

You will coordinate internal teams, contractors and service providers, implement reporting and governance, and apply a financial lens across the asset lifecycle to support informed investment decisions and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in asset management, assurance, lifecycle planning or asset performance within a major infrastructure or asset-owner environment.

Responsibilities

• Work within NSW Motorways, establish a new asset performance function covering motorway infrastructure, ITS and broader equipment portfolio.
• As the asset owner, bring together work delivered by internal teams, contractors and service providers, setting clear roles, responsibilities and service levels with a new reporting and assurance system for stakeholders.
• Apply a financial lens across the full asset lifecycle, using maintenance programs, lifecycle modelling and performance insights to support investment decisions and deliver long-term value.
