Job summary

Aurex Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join a real estate investment platform on a 12-month contract in Sydney. You will oversee asset performance across a portfolio of commercial assets, with a strong focus on leasing, income growth, capex and value creation.

You will partner with property managers, leasing agents and external advisers to drive occupancy, optimise budgets and cash flows, and support acquisitions and dispositions as needed.

We’re working with a real estate investment platform looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join the team on a 12-month contract.

Working across a portfolio of commercial assets, you’ll take responsibility for asset performance and execution, with a focus on leasing, income growth, capex and value creation.

Key areas of focus:

• Managing asset strategy, performance and day-to-day priorities
• Driving leasing activity, occupancy and tenant outcomes
• Identifying and progressing capex, refurbishment and repositioning opportunities
• Managing budgets, forecasts, cash flows and asset-level performance
• Working closely with property managers, leasing agents and external advisers
• Supporting acquisition and disposal activity where required

We’re looking for someone with strong commercial property asset management experience who can step in quickly, take ownership of the portfolio and drive key initiatives through to delivery.

Experience within an institutional owner, investment manager, REIT or private property platform would be highly regarded.
