Cast Recruitment is seeking a General Manager to oversee one of Adelaide's premier property portfolios for a leading commercial real estate and investment management company.

The role involves senior leadership, direct oversight of facilities and property management teams, and close collaboration with landlords, tenants and stakeholders to meet lease obligations and drive portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial, retail or industrial property management experience.
• Experience with multi-site portfolio management.
• Ability to lead high performing team and mentor.
• Strong financial and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent tenant and customer relationship skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Availability for Interstate travel up to twice P/A

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
• Build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage day-to-day property issues and ensure lease obligations are met.
• Coordinate lease administration and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with the wider property management team to resolve enquiries.
• Assist with tenant retention initiatives and property activations.
• Carry out responsibilities in line with the Management Agreement.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance for clients.
• Assist with preparing budgets and annual outgoings reconciliations.
• Coordinate property inspections and follow up maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure properties meet Work Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist with risk management, compliance and insurance audits.
• Monitor lease expiry dates and coordinate renewals and lease changes.
• Work with landlords, tenants and stakeholders on leasing matters.
• Help resolve tenancy and leasing issues when they arise.
• Assist with property valuations by coordinating inspections and information.
• Liaise with solicitors and ensure compliance with relevant property legislation.

OVERVIEW:

Our client is one of the world's leading commercial real estate and investment management companies. As General Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that manages some of Australia's most prominent property assets on behalf of a renowned national property landlord.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing one of Adelaide's' most premium property portfolios. There is strong on the ground support with dedicated Facilities Managers and Assistant Property Manager.

CRITERIA:

• Senior commercial, retail or industrial property management experience. Ideally with A Grade/Premium assets, or exposure to redevelopments
• Experience with multi-site portfolio management preferred
• Ability to lead high performing team and enjoy mentoring
• Strong financial/reporting capabilities
• Excellent tenant and customer relationship skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Availability for Interstate travel up to twice P/A
