Job summary

Kinetic IT is seeking a focused IT Asset and Configuration Management professional to support a Federal Government customer. You will lead end-to-end asset/CMDB governance, ensuring accurate data, strong controls and clear ownership across the service environment.

This role is 100% on customer site and requires active Australian Government security clearance (NV1/NV2). You will collaborate with service teams to improve visibility and decision-making while adhering to ITIL and governance

Qualifications

• Must have Australian Citizenship with active NV1 or NV2 Government security clearance (AGSVA).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, enterprise service management and configuration governance.
• Experience maintaining asset and configuration data, CMDB relationships and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end IT Asset and Configuration Management processes.
• Manage asset lifecycle and CMDB activities (identification, control, status accounting, verification, audit, retirement).
• Maintain accurate records and CMDB relationships across ESM platforms.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, process maps, configuration models and controls per ITIL and governance.
• Monitor data quality, compliance and performance to identify risks and improvements.
