Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a CMDB Analyst within the Digital division to manage configuration items, relationships and lifecycle data across IT assets, including hardware, software, virtual machines and cloud services.

You will embed ITIL change and service asset processes, maintain accuracy in the CMDB, support audits and change decisions, and work with program delivery leads to ensure dependable asset discovery and service mapping.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Design, Service Transition and Service Asset & Configuration Management.
• Certification in Asset & Configuration Management is preferred.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining asset registers and CMDB on ServiceNow.

Responsabilités

• Assist in embedding and monitoring operational processes for secure and reliable configuration items and verifying configuration records.
• Develop, configure and maintain tools for discovery, automation and service mapping to keep CI data accurate and current.
• Generate reports on asset and configuration management deliverables and propose corrective actions.
• Assist planning and management of CIs and related information.
• Collaborate to implement solutions, coaching CI owners as needed.
