Job summary

Randstad Pty is seeking reliable Spray Seal Operators / Crew Members in New South Wales. You will operate bitumen spray trucks, spreaders, and rollers, laying and spreading aggregates on road sites while maintaining safety standards.

Strong teamwork and hands-on experience are essential for this outdoor, fast-paced role. Qualifications include a White Card, asbestos and silica awareness, and MR/HR/HC truck license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in road spray sealing or asphalt operations.
• Valid MR/HR/HC truck license preferred.
• White card required for site access.
• Asbestos awareness is required.
• Silica awareness is required.
• Willingness to work flexible outdoor hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with bitumen spray trucks, aggregate spreaders, and rollers.
• Lay, spread, and rake aggregate materials across road sites.
• Perform surface preparation, hand-spraying, and site cleanup.
• Carry out daily pre-start safety checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
• Adhere to site safety standards and environmental guidelines.

Job description

We are seeking reliable and experienced Spray Seal Operators / Crew Members. If you have hands-on experience with bituminous surface treatments and love working outdoors in a fast-paced team, we want to hear from you.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating and assisting with bitumen spray trucks, aggregate spreaders, and rollers
• Laying, spreading, and raking aggregate materials across road construction sites
• Surface preparation, hand-spraying, and site cleanup
• Performing daily pre-start safety checks and routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Adhering to site safety standards, traffic management plans, and environmental guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in road spray sealing or asphalt operations
• Valid Drivers Licence (MR, HR or HC Class preferred)
• White card
• Asbestos
• Silica
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work flexible outdoor hours

Hours & Offer:

• 40+ hours per week with regular overtime opportunities
• Competitive hourly rates $40-$45 PH + penalties and travel allowances
• Immediate start available for the right candidate
