Job summary

Workpac Group is recruiting for a Spray Seal/Asphalt Labourer in Gympie. You will be part of an asphalt crew, assisting with spray and asphalt operations and supporting truck drivers, plant operators and crew members on civil road projects.

The role includes general labouring tasks such as spotting, site clean up, raking and shovelling, and loading/unloading materials. Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Driver's Licence with reliable transport.
• MR or HR Driver's license desirable.
• Construction white card.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Willing to work away from home when required.

Job description

Our client provides specialized spray sealing services, acting as a preventative maintenance solution forroads, car parks, and runwaysby applying a bitumen binder followed by aggregate. Their services include new construction, resealing, and specialized crumb rubber in-field blending using a modern fleet to improve waterproofing, texture, and longevity.

Duties

As a Spray Seal/Asphalt Labourer, you will be working with an asphalt crew.

• Assisting with spray and asphalt operations
• Work alongside truck drivers, plant operators, and crew members
• General labouring on civil road projects (spotting, site clean up)
• Raking and shovelling
• Load and unloading materials
• Driving MR trucks

Shift Structure

Monday to Friday – 6:30am to 3:30pm

What is Required

• Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
• MR or HR Driver's license highly desirable!
• Construction white card
• RII Roller/Skid Steer highly desirable!
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Willing to work away from home when required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
