Job summary

Boral Asphalt in Deer Park, Melbourne region, is seeking a Lab Technician to join the Asphalt Team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves sampling, testing, training, supervising and reporting results for asphalt-related products, performed at a production laboratory and project sites.

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will work shifts, including nights, maintain laboratory records, calibrate equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with NATA accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing in accordance with lab instructions and methods.
• Conduct sampling of asphalt on site with crews.
• Maintain safety and statutory requirements of the lab.
• Perform calibrations and checks of equipment.
• Maintain and observe NAB/NA T A accreditation requirements.
• Record and report results accurately.
