Job summary

Boral Asphalt is seeking a Construction Materials Technician to join the Asphalt Team in a full-time, permanent role. Based in Deer Park, the position involves work from a production laboratory and asphalt project sites.

The role requires flexibility for shift work, including night shifts, and supervision of sampling, testing, records maintenance and reporting results for asphalt-related products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
• Conduct sampling of asphalt samples on site alongside our Asphalt crews.
• Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations.
• Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
• Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory.
• Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
