Job summary

Nexus Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer and Drafter to join their Hunter region team. The role focuses on Level 3 design for Essential Energy and Ausgrid, and involves projects such as private subdivisions, asset relocation and NBN works.

The ideal candidate will have ASP3 experience, a White Card, and proven ability to work in a team, follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to company policies while meeting safety standards and project deadlines in a dynamic

Qualifications

• ASP3 experience in electrical design essential.
• White Card (General Construction Induction Card) required.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and genuine interest in the industry.
• Willingness to work flexible hours Mon–Fri.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures and legislative compliance.
• Level 3 experience with Ausgrid and Essential Energy is desirable.
• CAD experience is desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Nexus Power is a specialist level 1, 2 & 3 ASP operating in the Hunter region and Central Coast.Nexus Power’s operators have over 30 years’ experience in the industry, with a focus on structuring their services to meet the needs of their customers. Due to strong demand for their services and rapid growth, Nexus Power is looking for a motivated and focused individuals to join their team as Electrical Design Engineer and Drafter.

The successful applicant will be involved in, but not limited to the following:

Level 3 Design for Essential Energy and Ausgrid.

Private Subdivisions.

Asset Relocation.

NBN.

ASP3 Experience.

WHS White Card (General ConstructionInduction Card).

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to follow instructions.

The following will be considered desirable:

Level 3 experience with Ausgrid and Essential Energy.
