Job summary

Nexus Power Pty Ltd is seeking an ASP Level 1 Project Manager to join our Beresfield NSW team on a full-time basis. You will support senior staff, manage project elements, and develop your capabilities across delivery.

This early-career role emphasizes safety, collaboration and hands-on exposure to real-world construction project management, with mentoring and structured learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in construction management, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline.
• ASP Level 1 accreditation or the ability to obtain this qualification.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and take direction from senior staff.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation and reporting.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Relevant experience or internships within construction or project management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning, scheduling and coordination of assigned project activities under supervision
• Supporting the delivery of project milestones and ensuring activities progress in line with approved schedules
• Monitoring project costs and assisting with budget tracking and variance reporting
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, records and correspondence
• Liaising with site teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Assisting with the identification and management of project risks and issues
• Supporting the preparation of project reports, status updates and meeting minutes
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements on all assigned project activities
• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and best practice opportunities

About the role
