Job summary

Power Solutions (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – ASP Level 3 to join our Parramatta/NSW project team. You will lead design work from site investigations through to approval, delivering compliant ASP Level 3 designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects across NSW.

The ideal candidate has ASP Level 3 registration, relevant accreditation with NSW distributors, and at least 2 years’ experience in NSW power distribution.

Qualifications

• ASP Level 3 Registration with the NSW Office of Energy and Climate Change
• ASP Level 3 accreditation with Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid and Essential Energy
• Experience delivering ASP Level 3 designs within the NSW electricity distribution industry
• Strong knowledge of NSW electricity distributor network standards and the NSW Contestability Framework
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the NSW power distribution industry

Responsibilities

• Project managing electrical design projects from commencement through to completion
• Providing electrical engineering and ASP Level 3 design solutions for clients
• Delivering high-quality designs within agreed project timeframes
• Working collaboratively with the engineering and design team
• Communicating with clients, contractors and electricity distributors
• Undertaking site inspections, investigations and measurements
• Identifying and managing safety-in-design risks
• Making practical and technically sound decisions throughout the design process
