Job summary

Southern Cross Catholic College in Scarborough is seeking a Curriculum Leader (Arts) to shape and drive ARTS learning across the campus. You will lead the designated curriculum area, support teachers through PD, monitor student performance data and coordinate resources within the budget.

This continuing teaching appointment begins as Middle Leader with scope to grow through the triennium. You'll work within Brisbane Catholic Education's Redcliffe region, contributing to a supportive culture that

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
Developed work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements.
Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
Having responsibility for a financial budget.

Responsibilities

Lead the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school.
Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility.
Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility.
Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions.
Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.
